1. Introduction and Enterprise Scope
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of OKAtlas.ai's cognitive infrastructure, API endpoints, web applications, and related software solutions (collectively, the "Platform"). OKAtlas is an enterprise-grade intelligence layer designed to index and query fragmented organizational data.
By provisioning a deployment, accessing the API, or utilizing the web interface, you ("Customer", "You") agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Acceptable Use and Platform Integrity
OKAtlas provides the computational power to synthesize your data. You maintain all responsibility for the nature, legality, and accuracy of the data you connect to the Platform.
You agree NOT to use the Platform to:
- Process highly classified government intelligence or unencrypted protected health information (PHI) unless a specific, written BAA (Business Associate Agreement) or localized deployment contract has been executed.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying foundational reasoning models or vector ranking algorithms.
- Intentionally overload the API endpoints (e.g., DDoS) or bypass rate-limiting controls designed to protect multi-tenant infrastructure.
3. Connectivity, API Usage, and Limits
Enterprise deployments are subject to negotiated ingestion capacity and query throughput constraints outlined in your specific Master Services Agreement (MSA).
Standard cloud deployments utilize fair-use rate limiting to ensure 99.9% uptime across all nodes. Aggressive scraping of your own connected platforms that exceeds standard operational bandwidth may result in temporary throttling of ingestion tasks to maintain platform stability.
4. Sovereign Data and Intellectual Property
Your Data: You retain complete ownership of all data ingested into OKAtlas. We are a neutral infrastructure layer. Your data is your sovereign asset. We hold no intellectual property rights over the documents, messages, or contexts you index.
Our Platform: OKAtlas Systems Inc. retains all right, title, and interest in and to the OKAtlas platform, including its proprietary architecture, semantic routing logic, visual interfaces, and scrubbers.
5. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall OKAtlas Systems Inc., its directors, employees, or alumni, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; or (iii) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
